    This artisan hand knotted rug, made from Wool, this Savonnerie has incredible detail of beautiful scrolling foliage, and arabesque details throughout, with geometric motifs carefully placed throughout. Based on original designs of the French Aubusson movement from 1600 - 1900, the elaborate yet understated design is a great accent piece to add elegance to bedrooms, living rooms and dining rooms. As opposed to the Aubusson this Savonnerie, is a pile rug and very plush, making it very conformable to walk on.

    As with all our rugs, this rug has been professionally cleaned, though some slight discoloration may still exist.
